Put your stomping boots on for the ultimate stair challenge

WhatStadium Stomp uses the stairs within some of the largest sporting stadiums in the country to challenge willing participants in the ultimate stair climbing challenge. This year it will be held at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) and participants will endure 6,300 stairs up and down the grandstands in a course unmatched by anything Sydney has seen before. It’s not a race, rather a test of stamina and concentration that is open to all fitness levels.

Why: Experience the SCG in a unique way and become an active participant rather than the traditional spectator. You will be doing your body a world of good – climbing stairs burns almost four times as many kilojoules as walking on the flat ground.

When: Sunday, 17 July 2016. The course takes around 40 to 70 minutes. Register now – entry costs $65 and proceeds go to a charity of your choice.

Where: SCG, Moore Park Rd, Moore Park NSW 2021.
